Every session includes posing direction, a look at the shots as we go, and a digital gallery within days. Sessions start at $325, and the final price depends on how many people come and how many final images you want.

03 Behind the lens

Hi, I'm Roel

A photographer from McAllen with his own studio on West Pecan, and fourteen years of families who keep coming back.

Photography started as a passion. It became my craft.

I picked up my first camera while studying photography in college, and I've been chasing the same feeling ever since—the feeling of creating an image that makes you stop and remember.

I started my photography business in 2012, first as a destination photographer before creating a home studio and, eventually, my current studio in McAllen. Over the years, I've had the privilege of photographing families, milestones, celebrations, entrepreneurs, and people from all walks of life.

Being a parent has also shaped the way I see photography. I know how quickly children grow, how fast seasons of life change, and how meaningful it can be to have something tangible to hold onto. Those experiences have taught me that the most meaningful photographs aren't always the most perfectly posed. They're the ones that make you feel something.

Today, I bring that same love for photography into every session—creating timeless portraits with thoughtful direction, intentional lighting, and a little bit of artistry.
